Injection Reminder · Effective date: July 12, 2026
Summary: Injection Reminder, made by Zazen Technology Group, LLC, keeps the health information you enter on your device. The App has no account system or developer-operated data server. It sends limited anonymous onboarding and purchase-flow analytics to PostHog, but does not include your medication or injection records in those events.
Medication names, doses, units, schedules, injection dates and times, injection sites, pen tracking details, streak values, notes, and notification content are stored locally on your device and may sync through your private iCloud account when iCloud is available. We do not send this information to PostHog or otherwise receive or collect it.
The App uses PostHog, Inc. to understand onboarding and improve the App. Events may include onboarding screens reached, notification permission outcome, paywall and purchase outcome, app and build version, general device and operating-system metadata, and a randomly generated anonymous identifier. PostHog processes these events on its servers under its privacy policy. We do not identify you or create an account-based analytics profile.
The App does not use analytics for advertising, does not track you across other companies' apps or websites, does not show ads, and does not sell or rent personal data. Automatic screen capture, interaction capture, and session replay are disabled.
Reminders are scheduled locally on your device through Apple's notification system. Notification content is generated on-device from the information you entered.
If you export your history, a CSV file is created on your device and shared only through the destination you choose in the system share sheet. Once shared, that copy is governed by the receiving service's policies.
Your injection records and settings may sync between devices through Apple's iCloud and may also be included in device backups that you control through iOS. iCloud sync and backups are managed by Apple under Apple's terms, not by us, and are not accessible through a developer-operated health-data server.
Your health information stays on your device until you delete it. You can delete individual logs or medications in the App, and deleting the App removes its local database. Anonymous analytics events are retained according to our PostHog project settings and PostHog's applicable policies. Contact us with questions or requests concerning analytics data.
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If the App's data practices ever change, this policy will be updated and the effective date revised before the change takes effect.
