Injection Reminder · Effective date: August 10, 2026

Summary: Injection Reminder, made by Zazen Technology Group, LLC, keeps the health information you enter on your device and, when enabled, in your private iCloud account. The App has no developer-operated account or health-data server. Optional PostHog product analytics are off until you opt in and exclude medication and injection records. This website uses Google Analytics only after you choose to allow analytics, and it never receives health information from the App. RevenueCat processes subscription and purchase status. TikTok for Business processes limited app-event and device data for advertising measurement after you review this policy and iOS presents its tracking-permission choice. We do not send your medication, injection, symptom, or note data to TikTok.

1. Information You Provide

Medication names, doses, units, schedules, injection dates and times, injection sites, pen tracking details, streak values, notes, and notification content are stored locally on your device and may sync through your private iCloud account when iCloud is available. We do not send this information to PostHog or otherwise receive or collect it.

2. Optional Pseudonymous Product Analytics

If you opt in, the App uses PostHog, Inc. to understand setup and improve the App. Events may include onboarding screens reached, notification permission outcome, paywall and purchase outcome, app and build version, general device and operating-system metadata, session information, and a randomly generated installation identifier. This identifier is pseudonymous, not fully anonymous. Medication names, doses, schedules, dates, sites, symptom definitions, symptom check-ins, severity ratings, notes, and history are excluded. PostHog processes these events under its privacy policy. You can withdraw consent in Privacy & Support, which stops future collection and clears the local analytics identifier and queue.

3. Optional Website Analytics

If you choose “Allow analytics” on injectiontracker.app, the website loads Google Analytics, a service provided by Google LLC. Google Analytics may process pages viewed, basic website interactions, referring pages, general browser and device information, approximate location derived from your IP address, and first-party identifiers stored in cookies. The website does not collect medication names, doses, schedules, injection dates, sites, symptoms, severity ratings, notes, or other information from the App. Advertising storage, advertising user data, advertising personalization, and Google signals are disabled in our website configuration.

The Google Analytics tag does not load before you allow analytics. Your choice is stored in your browser so the website can remember it. You can change the choice using “Analytics settings” in the website footer; declining or withdrawing consent blocks future Analytics collection and removes Google Analytics cookies that are accessible to this website. Google processes Analytics data under its privacy policy.

4. Subscription Processing

The App uses RevenueCat, Inc. to validate purchases, subscriptions, trial eligibility, and feature access. RevenueCat may process an app-generated customer identifier, purchase and subscription status, app version, and device or store metadata under its privacy policy. The App does not send medication, schedule, injection, site, dose, symptom, severity, or notes data to RevenueCat.

5. Advertising Measurement with TikTok

The App uses the TikTok for Business App Events SDK to measure app installs and the results of ads for the App, and to help optimize and retarget those advertising campaigns. After you review the current privacy policy, iOS presents Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission choice. Depending on the event and your iOS permissions, TikTok may receive install, app-launch, retention, onboarding-completion, subscription-offer-view, checkout, trial, subscription, and purchase events; product identifier, price, and currency; app version and build; device model, operating-system version, locale, IP address, a TikTok-generated anonymous identifier, Apple's Identifier for Vendors (IDFV), and Apple's advertising identifier (IDFA) only when iOS permits access to it.

TikTok may use permitted data to associate activity in the App with ad interactions or activity across other companies' apps and websites for attribution, campaign optimization, and retargeting. If you deny tracking permission, the SDK cannot access a usable IDFA, although limited or aggregated measurement, such as Apple's SKAdNetwork, may continue. You can change the tracking choice later in iOS Settings. We do not send medication names, doses, schedules, injection history or sites, symptoms, severity ratings, notes, or other user-entered health information to TikTok. Enhanced data postback, automatic user-interface metadata collection, and automatic button-click collection are disabled. TikTok processes data under its privacy policy.

6. What We Do Not Collect or Share

The App does not display third-party ads and does not sell or rent personal data. We do not share medication, dose, schedule, injection, site, symptom, severity, or note data for advertising. PostHog product analytics and optional website analytics are not used for advertising. Automatic screen capture, session replay, and collection of screen contents are disabled.

7. Notifications, Widgets, and Live Activities

Reminders are scheduled locally through Apple's notification system and use generic wording by default. Widgets and Live Activities can appear outside the unlocked App. Detailed widget content is off by default and can be enabled in Privacy & Support. The widget does not record an injection; it opens the App so you can choose and confirm the site you actually used. iOS privacy and notification-preview settings also affect what other people can see.

8. Exports

If you export your history, a CSV file is created on your device and shared only through the destination you choose in the system share sheet. Once shared, that copy is governed by the receiving service's policies.

9. iCloud Sync and Device Backups

Your injection records and settings may sync between devices through Apple's iCloud and may also be included in device backups that you control through iOS. iCloud sync and backups are managed by Apple under Apple's terms, not by us, and are not accessible through a developer-operated health-data server.

10. Data Retention and Deletion

You can delete individual logs or medications in the App, and those deletions sync to your other devices when iCloud is available. Deleting the App removes its local cache but may not delete data stored in your private iCloud account; manage that data through Apple's iCloud storage settings. Pseudonymous analytics, website analytics, advertising-event, and subscription records are retained according to the applicable processor's settings, privacy policy, and legal obligations. Because the App does not create a developer account, contact us if you need help locating or requesting deletion of processor data.

11. Children

The App and website are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

12. Changes to This Policy

If the App's or website's data practices ever change, this policy will be updated and the effective date revised before the change takes effect.
